DailyHouseDeals is a small daily deal site for the things a household actually buys — the kitchen, the laundry, the yard, the odd bit of tech and furniture. We pick one thing a day, check the price against what it usually costs, and show you exactly why we think it is worth your money.
Who runs it
DailyHouseDeals is part of the Settle Oak portfolio, a small group of independent reference sites. It is written and maintained by a small team — the same people who check the prices. There is no content farm behind this and no auto-generated listings. The range on any given day is whatever a normal household was buying that week; the thread is the checking, not the aisle.
The rule we work to is simple: nothing goes up until a person has looked at it. If we cannot verify a price, we would rather post nothing that day than post something we cannot stand behind.
How we make money
Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the merchant pays us a small commission — at no extra cost to you. That is how the site keeps running.
What a commission never does is change a score. A deal that scores badly does not get promoted because it pays well, and a deal that scores well is not buried because it pays nothing. Where a link earns us money, we say so.
Where this site is right now
This is a preview build. Every deal currently on the site is a sample — a made-up price we used to design and test the pages, and a borrowed stock photo chosen to stand in for the product. Those deals are labelled, and none of them are real offers. There are no live deals yet.
That is deliberate. The whole promise of this site is that the deals are checked, so the first real deal will appear only when a real price has been verified. Until then, the shelves stay labelled as samples.
